Last Tuesday, Roland DG opened a Creative Center in Willich (Germany). In this Creative Center, authorized Roland dealers and other interested people can discover new applications and test the Roland machines. Inspiring people is the objective.
Together with about hundred partners, Roland DG opened a Creative Center in Willich near Düsseldorf. In this Creative Center (1200m²), Roland DG shows uncountable applications of its machines. Digital printing applications are granted an important place. Examples are personalized wallpaper, snowboards, cycling wear, flags, deck chairs and bikinis. Applications of engraving and modelling are demonstrated as well: signs, name tags, clothes with rhinestones, engraved glasses and much more. With this Creative Center, Roland DG wants to offer its dealers and end-customers a source of inspiration. The objective is to help clients broaden their perception and to help them in the search for new markets.
Eli Keersmaekers, CEO of Roland DG Benelux, opened the celebration. Keersmaekers: "The Creative Centre is the fruit of the philosophy of Roland DG. Roland DG has a very long reputation as leader in the outdoor large format printing business. The foundations of this success are still present today. These foundations are quality and reliability. But here at Roland DG we don't rest on the laurels of our past successes. We look the future and continue looking for new ideas and new opportunities that will benefit both our clients and end-clients." Furthermore, Keersmaekers pointed out that personalization and customization are becoming more important in our society. Marcus Timson, sales and marketing director at Fespa, also recognized this trend. He stressed that more and more people are looking for something unique. Something that sets them apart or expresses their creativity. Timson congratulated Roland DG with its efforts to on the one hand trigger the creativity of customers and on the other hand transform these ideas into saleable products.
The Roland DG staff is very satisfied with the results of their hard work. Mister Tomioka, president of Roland DG in Japan, is also elated by the 10th Creative Center in the world. Furthermore, dealers and other partners appreciated the efforts Roland DG makes to keep inspiring people. The adjectives interesting, creative, inspiring and lovely were heard frequently at the opening ceremony.
